St Thomas Anglican Church joyously announces that last night we were notified by our new bishop, Bishop Julian Dobbs that St Thomas Anglican Church has been accepted into the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word, by a unanimous vote of the Standing Committee of the Diocese. This makes St Thomas Anglican the first mission of the Anglican Church in North America in the greater Capital District of Albany, New York. We are off to a great start: we're open every Sunday morning for Holy Eucharist at 10:00; Adult Anglicans Class at 9:15 before Eucharist, and weekly Bible studies. Come and see!
Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God - the classic, best-selling, 12 week study written by Henry Blackaby, Richard Blackaby, and Claude King, the Experiencing God Bible Study is based on the Experiencing God book, which has sold millions of copies worldwide. Through examination of biblical and contemporary illustrations, participants will understand and apply seven realities of experiencing God. Churches will be helped to better function as the body of Christ, as members understand how to experience God as a church.
This five-session small group Bible study by noted teacher and historian, Ray Vander Laan, is volume six of the That the World May Know series. In this volume, Vander Laan helps you experience Jesus’ life up close and personal.
That the World May Know is a unique video series that brings God's Word to life with astounding relevance. By weaving together the Bible's fascinating historical, cultural, religious, and geographical contexts, teacher and historian Ray Vander Laan reveals unique insights into the Scriptures' significance for modern believers.
Filmed on location in Galilee, Priene, and Didyma, these illuminating "faith lessons" afford a new understanding of the Bible that will ground your convictions and transform your life. The That the World May Know video series is ideal for use in small groups, personal and family Bible studies, and adult Sunday school. Individual believers and families will gain vital insights from long-ago times and cultures through this innovative approach to Bible study.
